The Soloman's aren't the only Pacific micro-nations in play.
The US has tried to pry them away from China, but China talks
a good line of BS and promises lots of money .....

But for hte past 5 yuears the US has done nothing in the South Pacific, So
Biden is no different that Trump. Only now that China has made overtures
has the US woken up.

Planning and Buildup - hinged on WHAT ? Oh yea, on
Trump NOT being president .....

Even Trump was a little too lax on this subject alas, those
islands (except for the one China MADE) were "too trivial",
he was focused on the "big picture" and, while important,
that isn't the only way China makes progress. Russia may be
a bear, but China is more of an octopus, patiently probing
for opportunities in many directions at once. Perhaps one
of those "national character" sorts of things ...

Biden has done even LESS than Trump however - large OR
small picture. Hunter gets his cut, passes a little on
to the Big Guy ......
