I'm old enough to remember when these sorts of
'patriotism' campaigns were popular/mandated in
American schools however. Everybody HAD to take a
'civics' class - but the textbook was "Americanism
-vs- Communism" with a nice RedWhite-n-Blue Cover.
Putin didn't invent this, just following long tradition.
