Wasn't THAT long ago that compounds were measured
in grams, then milligrams, micrograms, nanograms,
femtograms, now literally atoms.

Thing is it's still NEWS when atomic levels of
some declared horrible awful substance is found.

Doesn't matter if the amounts are functionally
irrelevant, "found" is good enough, a way to
spread panic, drive political ends.

I don't see any lack or rats or squirrels or
humans for that matter. The plastic DOESN'T
REALLY MATTER in the broader picture.
