Don't feel like correcting a whole bunch of typos hence the abridged
version. There was a lot more "stuff" than written here. Went from Texas
through New Mexico, parts of Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Oregon
(ugh) and to our first destination of Washington (also ugh). Had a very
nice visit with relatives and then departed for parts east. Back across
Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnisoda, and Iowa (number 50 for us),
then home via Missouri, Oklahoma, Dallas (OMG! the traffic) and home in
the Houston area.

We made a quick stop at Shoshone falls in Idaho and also (for some
strange reason) the Evel Knevel Snake River jump site. We visited
Theodore Roosevelt NP in North Dakota. Stayed in Medora for a few days.
Some nice vistas. From there, Voyagers NP in Minnesota. Not a lot to see
there. Probably nicer in the fall... and before the -1000 deg F temps hit.

Didn't do much to talk aobut in Iowa. In Missouri we toured the recently
renovated Harry Truman Presidential library in Independence. He
probably made, in my opinion, one of, if not the hardest decisions ever
made by a US president. He did show his democrat bona fides with some of
his other decisions though. Overall, a decent and humble man -
especially for a politician and a democrat.

From there it was just passing through other places on the way home. As
an aside, which will surprise no one here, fuel prices in the democrat
states are through the roof and the farther south we got the less
expensive they were. I mentioned in a previous post about road
conditions in democrat states but, unfortunately, they aren't much
better in the red states we went through. I have no idea where the fuel
tax money is going but it's certainly not being spent on road maintenance.

Anyway, nice trip with no RV issues. Happy Camping.

Sounds like bragging, and so dry and boring.
