Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- Raw from last week opened with Nia Jax attacking Shayna Bazsler before their match was to begin. Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez also fought. Rhea called out the Judgment Day, who cut promos. Jey Uso came out and said there was a new Tribal Chief on Monday nights. Adam Pearce then showed up and said that Cody Rhodes and Jey would face Damien Priest and Finn Balor for the Undisputed WWE tag team titles at Fastlane. Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci went up against Alpha Academy in the first match of the evening. Kaiser won with a enziguri on Otis. Pearce then said that due to an arm laceration suffered by Becky Lynch at No Mercy (more on that later), "The Man" wouldn't fight Tegan Nox. Instead, it would be Nox against Chelsea Green. Cedric Alexander made his first Raw appearance for a while, but got squashed by Bronson Reed. Tommaso Ciampa and Gunther signed a contract for tonight's Intercontinental title match. As you might expect, they brawled. Xavier Woods then went up against Ivar.. Woods won with a moonsault. IN the Green-Nox match, Green won in a squash. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura's rivalry was recapped, and Rollins appeared with Michael Cole in the ring. "The Artist" attacked Rollins with a steel chair. Drew McIntyre appeared in the ring and cut a promo, but was interrupted by the Miz. That led to a match between the Scot and "The A-Lister". Drew won with a Future Shock DDT. NXT's Trick WIlliams was confronted by the Judgment Day. Cody was interviewed. In the main event, it was Gunther vs. Tommaso. The finish had "The Ring General" giving Ciampa powerbombs, and then giving him a sleeper for the submission win. Then Johnny Gargano appeared to attack Imperium and reunite DIY with Ciampa. In the ratings, Raw averaged 1.51 million viewers.

- The go-home Smackdown for Fastlane opened with LA Knight. He was interrupted by Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Heyman said that he has had an instinct to know who the next megastar is going to be, and said it was going to be Knight. But he said that the Bloodline was going to take care of him. The Bloodline surrounded the ring, and then came John Cena. With Cena in the ring, Knight challenged Sikoa to a match. Asuka and Charlotte Flair faced Damage CTRL's IYO SKY and Bayley in the opening bout. "The Queen" won with Natural Selection on Bayley. Bobby Lashley then faced Rey Mysterio in a match where the US title was not at stake. with the Street Profits and Latino World Order. The Profits and LWO fought, and that led to Lashley pinning the masked Hall of Famer. Austin Theory then faced Dragon Lee, who apparently was called up to the WWE main roster. The Aussie then attacked Lee. Cameron Grimes then showed up to attack Waller, and in the confusion Lee won with a rollup. In the main event, Knight faced Uso. Knight won by DQ after Solo Sikoa attacked Knight. Cena then showed up, and then the Judgment Day showed up. Finally Jey and Cody appeared as well. They brawled, and gave Cena a Superkick. Jey hit JD McDonagh with a Superkick. Then Cena gave McDonagh a Five Knuckle Shuffle and an AA, a BFT from Knight and a Cross Rhodes from Cody. Final national ratings will be revealed soon..

- Long-time fans remember the territorial system, when many cities had wrestling shows of their own. For millions, it was the only wrestling fans in each city could see. This lasted until the 1980s, when the then-WWF made its national expansion, which led to other promotions (Jim Crockett Productions, the AWA, World Class et al) going national. The National Wrestling Alliance is bringing back the territories back. The first to sign up is Exodus Pro Wrestling, a Cleveland-area promotion run by NWA World champion EC3. Other promotions will be added.
