This happens every time people decide "normal" has
returned. No more masks, no more sanitizer, no more
distancing, no more common sense.

Admittedly the current C19 strains are wimpy compared
to the earlier ones - BUT YOU STILL DON'T WANT TO
CATCH IT. That we're still seeing DEATHS means the
virus isn't all THAT benign either.

IMHO, stick to the old measures for a little while yet.
Get yer 2nd booster if qualified too.

Brazil is reporting yet another variant now - exact
effects as yet unclear. Seems to be a "hybrid" of
two or more previous strains. The virus isn't slacking
off ... it's very busy.

Now admittedly Florida isn't alone here. Expect similar
stats across the USA and Europe for sure. Everybody
has become complacent, everybody has become stupid.
