I've tried a dollop of jam or jelly but it's too messy and the biscuit wants
to fall apart. Just biscuit and sausage for me, too.

I figure I can always top with a slice of cheese and/or a scrambled egg
later if I feel like it. The biscuits were already trying to fall apart
even after I let them cool before I sliced them to add the sausage patties.
