yes, i ate it anyways, but ick. now i have to go find

old man nearly had a coronary, which would have
been appropriate, since I said something like,
"The only excuse for stinking as bad as is if you
were dead." Another good one that I may use
one day is, "I assume you're not a French whore,
but you sure smell like one."

I once went into this pizza place (located between Andrews Air Force Base and a Washington DC subway train station). I think they made the pizza after having put cologne on, because the residue was in the pizza. Oh well. How many years ago was that?

A lot of people do things like this? I've been given baked goods by
friends many times over the years and have never encountered this problem.

alas, almost everyone who's given us baked goods the past
few years almost all of them (more than half maybe even
closer to 75%) have suffered - plus some more instances of
clingwraps, bags or plastic containers for things other than
baked goodies.

in some cases comments have been made and we've taken
actions on our part to correct the problem (not using
their containers when taking leftovers, etc.) but that's
about all we can really do for those. they're not going
to change their ways. one lady uses so much cologne on
herself that when she visits i say hello and then i go in
my room and close my door before i start reacting.

a generational thing for sure. younger people we know
don't do this sort of thing but then we don't usually
get baked goods or leftovers from them either so perhaps
we've just been lucky so far.
