happen, though. Smashed fingers (or less severe) would do it.

If John disappears, I would put money down that within 6 months, the
post count on RFC would be half of what it is now, give/take. I would
not be surprised if he's the glue holding this place together. Lots of
OT discussions stem off of John posts, and I think that John-bashing is
half of the reason that many RFC'ers stick around, whether they'll admit
it or not... it's subconscious.
