A couple of eggs scrambled in a skillet, still very moist but set; two
sausage patties and a nice cold glass of milk to go with it. :)

Did the dataw grocers run out of piss peppers?

Probably a "supply chain" issue. You should find them in stock soon.

It was left over macaroni, beef, and tomato here. A bit of shredded cheddar
cheese topped it, too.

Salad, of course. Our main meal of the day is lunch.

Today, lunch was vegetable soup, cheese, and bread. We'd done a
nice little concrete project (two 50-pound bags) in the morning,
so I wanted something simple for lunch. Defrosted homemade vegetable
soup fit the bill nicely.

Sausage with milk is a big turn off for me... beer or wine goes well
with sausage.

>Salad, of course. Our main meal of the day is lunch.

Salad is big here, good for lunch or dinner.

Salad or vegetable soup depends largely on our garden, what was in
your homemade veggie soup? Our vegetable soup or salad starts with
diced romas. Soup this time of year contains lots of
Korean eggplant coins. Salad typically contains sliced hard cooked
eggs on a bed of dressed greens (Swiss chard). It's getting chilly so
pickings are slim, no more cukes or peppers but there's lots of
cabbage and I'll be trimming brussel sprouts in another week...
brussel sprouts make the Champagne of cole slaw. We grew carrots this
year, short thick ones, very sweet.
