GBR, _Royal Descents of 900 Immigrants_ (2018), 1:clxxxvi, under a section devoted to speculative descents (unproved or problematic), says the following of Mary Drake:

"Mrs. Mary Drake Chetham Heath of Md. -- _LDBR_ 3:721-22. I can find no pertinent printed Stansby, Hiett or Bromwich pedigrees."

_LDBR_ is the abbrevation for D'Angerville's _Living Descendants of the Blood Royal_, 5 vols., where the indicated generations at 3:721-22 are:

https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/100377-living-descendants-of-blood-royal-in-america-v-03?viewer=1&offset=0#page=754&viewer=picture&o=&n=0&q
14. ANNE HIETT [of Sarnfield Coffin, Herefordshire, a possible Edward I descendant] m. ROBERT STANSBY, Lord of the Manor of Micheldever, Hampshire.

15. THOMAS STANSBY, of Micheldever and London; m. 1639, MARGARET UNDERHILL of London.

16. JANE STANSBY, m. 1668, the Reverend JOHN DRAKE, Vicar of Oving.

17. MARY DRAKE, b. Oving 22 Aug. 1672; m. DR. EDWARD CHETHAM of London; they came to St. Paul's Parish, Queen Anne Co., Maryland, about 1700.

_Allegations for Marriage Licences Issued by the Dean and Chapter of Westminster_ has a license for the marriage of the immigrating couple:

[1668.] Sep. 1 John Drake, of Oving, co. Sussex, Clerk, Bachr, abt 27, & Jane Stansbey, of Elvetham, co. Southton, Spr, aged 22; consent of father Thomas Stansbey, of Micheldever, co. Southton, Gent; at Elvetham or Hartly Rowe, co Southton.

The parish register of Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, has the marriage record itself under a slight variant of the bride's surname:

Mr. John Drake & Jane Stonesby ... 13 Sep. [1668]

https://www.google.com/books/edition/Hampshire_Parish_Registers_Sherborne_St/FgUVAAAAQAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22jane+stonesby%22+hartley&pg=PA131&printsec=frontcover

Interestingly, _Living Descendants_ does not mention the widow Mary Chetham's remarriage in Maryland to James Heath, which is obvious from various records in Maryland.

The second marriage is mentioned in Francis Sims McGrath's 1950 volume _Pillars of Maryland_, p. 333, which does the opposite of d'Angerville in mentioning only the _second_ husband of Mary Drake:

"James Heath, the first to arrive in this country, married Mary Drake in 1711 who was the daughter of John Drake, vicar of Orring, and Jane Stanley, daughter of Sir Thomas Stanley ..."

https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/622010-pillars-of-maryland?viewer=1&offset=0#page=379&viewer=picture&o=&n=0&q
The misspellings here (Orring, rather than Oving and Stanley versus Stansby) make me think there might be some notes in old handwriting stating this.

At any rate, it wouldn't hurt following up the descendants of Mary and her second husband, James Heath, in an attempt to determine where the garbled account originated. An old writing, no matter how misspelled, might be the link needed to verify the origin.

Should read: "marriage licence for the claimed parents of Mary Drake ..."

13. ANNE BROMWICH, m. RICHARD HIETT, Lord of the Manor of Sarnfield Coffin, Sheriff of Herefordshire, 1601.

There may be decent proof for these generations in the following snippet which appears to read ...

"__ May 1599. Pardon of alienation for Robert Stanesby and Anne Hiette, now his wife, who, by indenture 29 Nov. 41 Eliz. [1598] between John Thistlethwaite on the one part and Richard Hiette and John Stanesby on the other, in consideration of the marriage to be solemnised between Robert Stanesby, nephew and heir apparent of the said John Thistlethwaite, and Anne Hiette, Richard's daughter, acquired from John Thistlethwaite, the manor of Estwinterslowe alias Roche Court, Wilts ..."
