Wild Canada sourced from Trader J. Should be semi unfrozen in 2 hours. Pricey but good for lunch leftovers too.
The bagged coleslaw seems to regenerate so I'll remove the funky colored pieces and hit it with 1K island dressing. Fries and never ending goose Island beer.
Pie

Free range Geese are meandering around North Avenue Beach. Net catch one and Uber back to CNW station.

A good red Burgundy or sometimes a Bordeaux go well with salmon.

Salmon can handle some reds
What kind of red wine goes with fish?
Red wine like Pinot Noir, Merlot or Zinfandel call for fish like salmon
or tuna. The fruitiness and fresh taste of the wine is a great
complement and tones down the “fishiness” of salmon and tuna getting too
carried away. They also play well with the aromas and texture of the fish.

A light rose is good, but not burgundy.

Never even saw any annie green wines. Most of the bum wines I've
seen are shit like thunderbird, or MD 2020.

Codeine cough syrup is better than any of them.

I'd like to know why the OP is carrying home salmon in a backpack hoping
it will be semi-unfrozen for whatever in 2 hours. Bought bagged cole
slaw, which seems to regenerate, from which will be removed the "funky
colored pieces". Now looking for wine recommendations? Heh.

Annie Green Springs is in the style of Boone's Farm. Light and
sweet, for getting your girlfriend drunk. Very much different from
the fortified wines like Mad Dog.

Its the Trader Joes Red Organic "Well Read", whitened with Ginger Ale for sweetness.

The One pound of bagged loose cole slaw isn't diminishing at the rate of deli slaw.
Yes frozen fish needs defrosting before frying and the backpack time did the trick.
Pink fish, pinkish wine.
Tonight is Steak Night. Fillet Mignon of course. Some kind of green frozen veggie and Sunday's leftover fries from the Mega Italian Beef Corp.
The south loop Portillos is less crowded than the Gold Coast one. After lunch Sunday I peddled over to the NFL Bears Soldier Field in time to see the stoic fans departing what turns out was a loss to Green Bay.
They didn't seem depressed so they must have been gambling on a continued losing Bears season. I bet even the McCaskey Family ownership of the Bears is betting on losses now to finance a new stadium in the suburbs.

Oh, and never stop on the sidewalk if you see a guy approaching you drinking from a paper bag. I didn't expect that I would get into a discussion of the witches from the Wizard of Oz but paper bag guy saw an advertisement for the play Wicked and was confused about multiple Witches. Upon reflection there were 3 witches, Good... Wicked and the sister of Wicked crushed by Dorothy's house.
