The post is ancient, but there is nothing out there more current. I bought a brand new sprayer at the cheap tools outlet place. I filled it with properly mixed insecticide and proceeded to pump it up. No superman stuff, just a normal 70 year old homeowner. I noticed some dripping from the bottom when suddenly it became a rocket. The bottom seam failed and blew apart. Remember the little rockets we had decades ago. You put some water in them, pumped them up and flew about 100 ft. It was like that with over one ton of force. It broke my hand, ripped open my arm, took one of my front teeth and put it through my upper lip and stuck it in the inside of my right nostril. I look like a hillbilly with missing front teeth and my right arm has something they call RSD. It looks like a bear arm because of the long black that the replaced my normal hair. When I asked the company about the problem, they say it could not happen. This thing was brand new. I took it out of the box. You were lucky indeed..

It seems it is a winnable case, but the medical bills were about $14,000. it seems there is just not enough money in it for an attorney to fool with it.
