Dozens of protesters caused a 13th day of disruption in
London on Saturday by glueing themselves to the road at
Shoreditch High Street

Shortly after midday, 29 supporters of the group sat down
on the tarmac at the junction of Shoreditch High Street
and Great Eastern Street causing gridlock on the surrounding
roads.

Some protesters glued themselves to the road surface, while
others held up banners demanding an end to the use of
fossil fuels.

But frustrated motorists who were caught up in the road chaos
reacted by physically dragging some of the activists out of
the way.

The Met Police said 26 arrests were made on Saturday for
wilful obstruction of the highway.

The Foreign Secretary tweeted: "I’m just wondering what
the reaction would be if a couple of black boys from
Lewisham had thrown soup on a Van Gogh or poured milk
all over the floor in Harrods."

At last - some PUSH BACK by sensible citizens ! Didn't
think the UK still had the balls to put hands on any
of those hyper-lefty 'protesters/vandals'.

As for trying to destroy a Van Gogh - a pity the art
lovers didn't tar and feather the offenders for gross
crimes against culture. And to assault poor tortured
Vincent ... an aggravated crime.

In any case, it looks like The Govt is standing with
the common people protecting their rights and rightful
tax-paid domains. This is a change.

But is it enough, soon enough ?
