It was interesting to note he used store-bought mayonnaise to make the
aioli for the real crab cakes. He said "We're using store bought
mayonnaise, it's not cheating, it's just smart." :)

After that he made something "vegan" but he called them crab cakes,
using shredded canned jack fruit, which he admitted doesn't taste
anything like crab but has a similar texture. So, jack fruit cakes.

My wife used to teach in a "school for the trainable mentally retarded"
and had students with a wide range of mental ability. A lot of them
really looked the part. They had various Downs and other syndromes which
usually included various physical manifestations. Others were just
plain stupid. They looked quite normal but were really low functioning.
She felt sorrow for them because when they looked normal people had
higher expectations of them. The Downs syndrome kids, OTOH had all
features common to the condition so people had lower expectations.

In the future, we won't need any smart people. We'll all be replaced with robots smarter than we are. By all practical measures, we might as well all be retarded.
