Tis the season...

This time I used GoFerm, a yeast hydrating additive. Which didn't
do much that I could tell. But a couple days later I added half a
teaspoon of 70% urea nitrogen and 30% diammonium phosphate (Hi
Bruce!) and the yeast seemed to have really liked that shit. I
never get 30 FPM(*) out of fermenting apple juice.

Original gravity was 1.135 which has the potential for about 17%
ABV <hic>

(*) Farts Per Minute.

It looks like I'm at 13% ABV in just 4 days according to the
hydrometer. Usually that would take 7+ days I'm gonna let it
ride while I doctor this little box of wine I forgot to add to the
beef stew a couple days ago...

Ahh, yes. That worked pretty well, too. Reminds me of concord
grape Manischiewitcz with twice the alcohol.

Damn, you must have pissed in it. I guess it would zip yeast up as
much as it does the peppers :)
