Sorry, but it does not involve beans, broccoli, nor an Anchor Hocking
dish.

Today it's chicken spaghetti, a first for me, and it makes quite a lot
and I've shared a very large container with my neighbor. It's a dish
I spied on the YouTube Shorts, so I went to the guy's channel to get
the directions. A pound and a half of those chicken breasts I bought
Friday was used. Bruce, two (2) cans of ingredients were used, I hope
this doesn't ruin your weekend.

What delectable dish will be served at your house this evening??

I didn't have any Italian sausage so I turned a pound of the bulk
breakfast sausage I got from the meat market into a very reasonable
facsimile. They don't go heavy on the sage in the pork sausage so it
was not difficult to do. I used my pestle and morter to grind some old
fennel seeds to powder. Still fragrant! Added that to the pork sausage
along with garlic in the pan and cooked until well browned. I've had
the sausage simmering in tomato sauce on the stove for a couple of
hours. I cooked the usual angel hair pasta; an old method of add the
pasta to boiling salted water then immediately removing it from the heat
and cover it. The pasta finishes cooking all by itself.

I boiled 2 pounds of extra jumbo shrimp, and
am cooking up a pound of frozen spinach.
Cocktail sauce for the shrimp, and just salt for
the spinach. Cranberry juice cocktail for the
beverage. No work for at least a week.

Chicken spaghetti sounds interesting. Here, it was just left-over ham
salad sandwiches on a croissant from earlier in the day.

I can't say that I was a big fan, but they were free, left over from my
sister's baby shower earlier. I was invited, but it seems odd to me for
a man to be invited to a baby shower; I guess it's becoming a fad for
men to attend also. Either way, I had to work, but my mother and sister
saved me a plate of food. That was nice of them.

I had a salad dressed with cider vinegar vinaigrette. It had some
ham on it.

Lunch (my main meal of the day) was vegetable soup, a bit of
gruyere cheese, and a piece of buttered rye toast.

Reminds me of a fried chicken patty on a bed of spaghetti topped with tomato sauce. Sounds good.

Putting ham salad on a croissant is like lipstick
on a pig. It's still ham salad.

What other horrors accompanied the ham salad?

a few all beef smoked hotdogs with mustard (no bun), they
were ok, i bit tough but edible (i eat about anything so
that's not high praise, but factual) and a few eggrolls
from our favorite chinese place. small serving of ice-
cream with a few peanuts on there.

Sounds simpler than the recipe I use. Please share the details of the
way you made it.

Here's the chicken spaghetti I'm familiar with -
CHICKEN SPAGHETTI

1/4 C. chicken fat
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/4 c. flour
1 c. grated cheese
2 c. strong chicken broth
1 c. canned tomatoes
2 c. diced chicken (cooked)
1 8 oz. package spaghetti (cooked)

Melt fat and cook onions and garlic slowly for 10 minutes or until
clear; add flour, stir well; add stock and stir until thickened; add
cheese and stir until melted; then add tomatoes and chicken; add cooked
spaghetti and bake 25 min. at 375° F.

This is better prepared day before the day of serving - just pop in
oven.

That was all that was left over, probably because it was ham salad, heh.
There were a few slider-size ham and cheese sandwiches.

Becoming? Just because a baby shower is going on downstairs doesn't mean that other people get kicked-out of the house. Anyway, its a cool way for a little brother like me to get to know a few more ladies.

I found some kim chee fried rice in the refrigerator. I know not from where it came. I added some bacon and more kim chee to the fried rice and put a fried egg on top.
My son brought a big jar of kim chee from H Mart. He shouldn't have done that. What the hell are we going to do with that? I feel out-played.

There maybe more kim chee fried rice in your near future.

We're still finishing a boatload of pickled daikon. We can't have any
visitors until it's all eaten.

Stinky takuan is kind of stink but I like one or two pieces with rice. The problem is that I shouldn't eat rice. Next time, make a small batch or just buy a small bottle of the stuff.

Yes, a smaller batch would be better, although I really like it.
