as usual burgers were fried with garlic salt (on both
sides). i start the pan on medium heat with a dab of
butter. the patties had thawed out and were room
temperature when i put them in the pan so i cooked them
7 minutes on a side (if they'd been colder i'd have
done 6 minutes a side). one patty was smaller than
the other so that was well done, but still juicy enough
the patty i had was thicker and still had some pink in
the middle.

after the burgers were fried i put the fried rice
in the pan to soak up the grease from the burgers and
any leftover bits of fried juice and garlic salt. it
was some of the best fried rice i've ever had. :)

veggies were the usual carrots, peas and corn blend
and mushrooms from a can. still ok for eating with
a fried burger. no condiments or other things are
needed by either of us (nor buns) but Mom likes more
butter on her veggies.
