border, there's another perhaps even more scary development...

in that britain has just announced some kinda independent 'tri-lateral'
pact/partnership with poland and ukraine... one in which they would, of
course, all come to the aid of each other if they ever get into trouble,
'including' that of helping to defend each other should they ever come
under attack!

(sound familiar at all?? a mini-nato in-effect)

of course, any russian/rebel hits on the uk or poland element OF that
trio, immediately invoking nato's article 5 too because of the uk/poland
component! (they can't legally bring ukraine into nato but they CAN
incorporate nato elements INTO ukraine via ukraine's now special
relationship WITH 2 of nato's members) so if the rebels fight back (or
russia invades ukraine) having been invoked NATO can then technically
march in and deal with the problem directly!

iow: they've just made an effective nato member OF ukraine by... proxy!
