iow: they's all jittery and unsure as all get-out what's gonna happen next
+ they know none of it's gonna be good news either...

plus all this chit-chat about us 'hurting' russia via harsh sanctions etc,
could (and prolly will) be taken as another attack upon them! putin saying
he'd deal sharply with anyone who interferes and/or 'tries' to hurt them?

and we ARE deliberately tryin' to hurt them!?

(i.e., now he's made his move we should back off and let things
calm/simmer down some, get some decent dialogue going + defo shouldn't do
'anything' to provoke them further now he's on the move!)

Today is the first day of the rest of the mess.
