My wife and I went on a rare shopping trip together to Walmart. They
have some kind of clothing starch that she likes there.
We needed some foodstuffs and I noticed the Kerrygold butter, recently
mentioned here. My hoity toity wife has started eating real butter,
thanks to her sister's influence.
So we bought eight ounces of Kerrygold for over four bucks. This better
be good!

Sticks or tub? I like the tub. Spreads easily, tastes great. For
cooking, I use the cheap store brand butter.

Clothing starch? That's for ironing, isn't it? I own an iron, but
I use it only when I'm sewing.

Do you know what items your wife starches?

She's a quilter and probably uses the starches for her quilting pieces.

Fail. The salted messed this up. I need all of salt or all non.
The most initial damage was from Kerry.

I suppose I do appear a bit stiff, but I doubt I'll get better. :)

The butter bell will make it spreadable. Kerrygold contains more
butterfat than typical American butter. I think it tastes good but I
don't use it for everything.

If he's an old country farmer, he needs no starch in his
drawers. After a few months use, the dried sweat will make them
stand up without assistance.

Gotta start over after wash day.

It is the finest butter in the universe, and is used by all
royal families. Everyone knows this, your majesty. You don't
have to do the sales pitch. Ed does it better anyway.

It's not that great. Sorry. Not worth the price. Several USA folks
fine European fermented butter to taste faintly spoiled. They think we
are crazy but they've never had sweet cream unfermented butter so lack
comparison.

That's your opinion. Kerrygold never tasted spoiled to me. What do you
mean "They think we are crazy but they've never had sweet cream
unfermented butter so lack comparison"? Who is this "they" you speak of?

I agree with Carole on the stick version of Kerrygold. I did not care
