i was just told that apple crisp will be ready in about
a half hour.

it is basically just sliced apples with butter, flour,
cinamon, sugar and oats sprinkled on top and then baked
until done.

smells delicious.

having been so fortified i walked past cream curls and
donuts of various kinds today plus some halloween
twinkies with scream in them.

i think a vanilla ice-cream with chunks of apple cider
donuts in it would be good.

I like that and have made it many times. It's the oatmeal on top that
really completes the dish.
