I once knew an American woman who claimed to be a descendant of Captain
James Cook. I hadn't the heart to tell her that although he had
children, none gave him grandchildren that survived to reproduce.

I've only been able to trace my ancestry back to Moses. Seems some
people may have missed the boat/
