It's wet and cold here this morning so it was a soup making day. My wife
had roasted a butternut squash last night because she wanted me to use
it for soup. Fair enough. The last 5-6 times I made it I did it with
adobo and smoked paprika. She said she preferred it with hot curry, so
that is the way I went. I just had some for lunch and it was great.

it's a good time to start using some of the squash up.

It's rainy and chilly here, 45°F (7°C), and homemade soup would be mighty
welcome today. But alas, I'm not sure what dinner will be, and I didn't eat
lunch as breakfast was late.

We were going to make tacos with black beans and shredded leftover pork
tenderloin but we don't have cilantro. Then we decided that if we had to
go out for cilantro we might just as well go out for supper.
I tossed out the suggestion and had barely finished the sentence when
she agreed.
