Any political realignment will result in some violence as the defining feature is necessarily confusion.

A lot of them are full of it but there will definitely be a spike in mass shootings by non political confused nut jobs as well as openly declared MAGA -- assuming that distinction even makes sense.

If the GOP is to survive as a political force and not just an extremist violence and hate group, more and more people in the GOP are going to have to
escape the hideous influence of Trump.

The MSM/est. GOP symbiosis was just as hideous and is what created MAGA. Trump unwittingly did everyone a favor ripping the meal plan of MSM, the dog whistle racist GOP, out of "liberal" media's loving arms.

A lot of MSM including the NY Times are already responding to Cook's "dire" warning:

"There is 'no post Trump GOP?' In that case there'll be no post Trump." [Better a MAGA dictatorship than the rich paying taxes.]

A lot of the crazy stuff you see going on in the GOP will go on in MSM. They imprint on each other. AME absolute maximal entanglement.

The administration was warned about this last fall and they agreed, confirmed by the damage control put out by the AP.
