New 55" 4K TV w/Roku, FireTV, Android TV, and Chromecast.

port - mirrors the writes to my video directories on my PCs and
reads the files through TV's USB port even when PC is off.

Dedicated Archer 1900ac beam-forming router in repeater/extender
mode connected to TV's ethernet port (because all TV's built-in
wireless adapters suck) and then wirelessly to a WIFI5
beam-forming gateway router for a 480Gb connection to the TV and
NAS thumb drive.

6,000 BTU cooling system mounted behind TV, custom double-hutch TV
stand built in 25 minutes swivels +/- 22 degrees with side and
back rails for TV stability (the legs will be strapped down with
steel ribbon, too). 7 remote controls including a fully
programmable/customizable JP1 remote and 2 WIFI-direct remotes.
Wireless mouse and keyboard connected VIA OTB cables to Roku,
FireTV, and Android TV. And of course connected as a extra
monitor VIA HDMI and an Nvidia GTX 960 video card. And a retro

You have to keep checking back for it to be in stock. It comes
and goes in/out of stock randomly for a few minutes every day for
the last 6 days. I had to order it 4 times over 3 days and
finally it was still in stock by the time I submitted my order a
minute later. And it was delivered free 2.5 hours later.

From now on, it's all about me, me, and me and my awesome video
system. Now if only I actually watched TV more than 3 hours a
week...

FYI, in case you got the wrong idea. There was a lot of
embellished sarcasm in there. I couldn't give a shit about any of
this except I was pleasantly surprised by the 4K resolution at 50"
as a computer monitor. I have a 4K 28" monitor, but I use it in
1080 mode. It was fun to put it back into 4K mode and duplicate
the display on the TV. But all those open windows would
discombobulate the shit out of this 'ol blind fart.

If anybody knows of a USB drive that will do as I described, I'd
like to hear about it ;-) (that was bait). Its a 1GB thumb drive
I manually move from computer to TV (bottom right, it's a female
USB socket velcro'd to the OSB board)

year round water on the shores of the highly desirable Brushy
Creek in Avery Ranch. And with free use of the motel's hovercraft
(weather permitting).
