It seems my local Kroger has stopped stocking Plugra butter as I've not
seen it on the shelf in three weeks. Not even a sticker to show where it
would be if it were stocked. I opted for a two-stick box of Vermont, sea
salt cultured butter for $3.49. It's wrapped in brown, but not really wax
or parchment paper, however it tastes no different than Kroger's house
brand of butter to me.

Saturday morning I will give it another taste test as I had eaten a piece
of chocolate pie about 10 minutes previously to trying this butter.

My recent trip to Kroger was disappointing, to say the least. Lots of
empty spots on the shelves. Whole sections of the store moved and
rearranged. Wasted a half hour or so searching/asking for things I
normally buy. Still left without 6 items on my shopping list. What
decent grocer doesn't have fresh garlic in stock?

If this is the new normal - it sucks!
