China/Russia/Iran - all HEAVILY involved in Africa
at this point. Wagner has been kicking ass for
Putin's aims, the Chinese are just buying the whole
place and now Iran is probably interested in not
just a little slice of the pie but also to recruit
new Islamist commandos.

Meanwhile - and it's been kind of a LOT of meanwhile -
the USA/EU have been looking the other way. Africa
is a quagmire-in-waiting. Thing is, it's also got
vast and important natural resources and is LARGE
and right next to Europe.
