Hey, saw a bit with Joe talking to NATO people just
now. He was actually kinda on-the-ball and interactive !
They must have doubled his Adderall dosage or
something ! He's probably why there's a shortage, it
all gets shipped direct to 1600 Penn :-)

He mentioned that the USA is *not* going to admit
Ukraine however ... not while things are still all
screwed up. One of the more powerful things about
NATO is the "attack one = attack all" bit. That is
a significant deterrent.

If Ukraine had BEEN in
NATO then it wouldn't have been attacked ... but it
wasn't already in NATO. Zel, of course, wants a big
european army to suddenly show up and save the day,
but that ain't happening (and would likely cause
a WW3 almost instantly). Sorry, but Ukraine isn't
worth ending the world ...

Once the war is over, and Putin is over, it may be
politic to bring Ukraine into NATO - but not until
then.
