No, but I'm sure someone has done it.

We don't incorporate broccoli into chicken divan when we make it,
either.

Is it chicken divan with the broccoli? I always thought that was an
important component of the dish. We make that frequently when we have
leftover chicken. One time we had no broccoli on hand so we used
asparagus instead.

You do have to be careful with the cooking time for the broccoli in
order not to overcook it. Parboiling it and then baking the dish for
1/2 hour works out well, but it doesn't do well to re-heat leftovers.
When you cook it a second time it develops some of that nastiness that
is common with overcooked broccoli.

Trimming poasts is like trimming pubic hair.

Best done sparingly, unless you like looking like a eunuch.
