Does anyone have info. relative to the code F1?
Does not seem to effect the performance; However I do notice a slight power stumble when the code appears.
Thanks for any thoughts.
I called the dealer and of course they are already talking about possible two hours of engin analysts.NOT CHEAP!

You sure it’s F1 and not FI as in fuel injection light? And as Snag wrote,
year, make, model is a requirement for proper speculations as to how fucked
you are.

I figured out how fucked (actually I kinda already knew) my truck
motor is when I got the heads off yesterday . No. 1 piston has been
smacking the head , don't now yet if it's a collapsed skirt or a head
separation . That's not such a bad thing , there's no damage to the head
and I've been wanting to "warm up" this motor . It's a 305 in an '86 GMC
pickup ... my goal is "sleeper" .

Well , the torque band on this cam is 2000-5500 ... it specs
..444/288° intake and .464/298° exhaust , 112° lobe separation so it
should idle with some lope . I'm also installing that set of 3.42's ...
I actually hope to pick up a little gas mileage over the average 12-14
this truck has always gotten .
