Poland announced preparations for the deployment of US nuclear weapons on its territory.
American nuclear weapons will be deployed on the territory of Poland. According to the Deputy Prime
Minister of Poland, agreements have now been fully reached allowing Washington to relocate its
nuclear arsenals to the country in any required quantity. "Poland is open to the deployment of US
nuclear weapons," says Jarosław Kaczynski, leader of Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. In
an interview with the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, the influential politician said that this
"clearly strengthens the containment of Moscow." As far as we know, the Americans have no plans to
deploy nuclear weapons in Poland, but according to Kaczynski, this could quickly change under the
influence of Russia's special operation (ed.) in Ukraine. According to him, it would be a logical
step to have nuclear weapons on the eastern border of the NATO zone.", according to the Teller Report.
The deployment of nuclear weapons on the territory of Poland could lead to an extremely serious
escalation between NATO and Russia, since if even tactical nuclear weapons appeared in Poland, a
very serious threat would appear both for the Kaliningrad region and for neighboring Belarus, which
is not only a member of the Union State, but and a member of the CSTO.
The Russian side has not yet responded to Poland's calls to deploy US nuclear weapons in the country.
