or rather where it's going. Given co$tly conflicts on several
fronts that the US is engaged in, I would be willing to bet
this constitutes one or more conspirational (?constipational?)
efforts to hit the US's *REAL VULNERABILITY* and that's
"gold plated" bullets.

Everything the US MICies produce is *gold plated": it's how
they maximize profit. And sure, gold plating, or better,
solid gold bullets prob'ly *do* work a bit better than lead.

But how many can you make before you go broke, there Uncle Sam?
We ain't using six-shooters anymore. There's these calculations
of cost/benefit that seem to be stuck a few centuries back of
the turn.
