Went to Los Angeles area for Christmas. Probably the worst drive in 35
years. Lots of rain and freeway work, made for a 9+ hour trip going and
coming. 350 miles. Coming back, filled up diesel at Costco, Bakersfield.
Biodiesel, I think more than B20 rating. Got 20.3 mpg, with even all
the stop and go on the freeway. 2019 GMC Crewcab Denali 2500. 4x4. Took
the truck because of the traffic and possible snow on the Grapvine on I-5.
Nice on the greater than 20 mpg. Wife’s 2009 Venza only gets about 22mpg
for same trip.

Be greatful. My camper gets 7-10. 10, downhill with a tailwind and
the best fuel.

My Silverado gets 22-23 on interstate, but only 12-13 fwith the
trailer.

I was surprised that the Edge we rented averaged 27 MPG on the
computer over the entire rental (5 days). Some of that was driving
85-90 on 131. The speed limit is 75 and nobody does it. People were
passing me at 90.
Those Northern Michigan folks are my kind of people ;-)
To bad it is so friggin cold up there.

I get about 19 normally on a trip to Santa Monica. But that is at 85.
