that he's long long been used to being The Boss. Snap

Depends. Big CEOs expect everybody to just jump
on command. Carter was not a big CEO. If anything
he didn't expect them to jump enough - so they
didn't. Therein was his problem - an aimless
administration.

Military presidents - mixed bag. Kinda depends on
whether they realize they've switched environments.
Everybody liked Ike ... but not Andrew Jackson.

Career pols ... well ... you just get more of the
