French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday that sending
Western troops to Ukraine should not be ruled out, as European
leaders concluded a summit on supporting Kyiv.

"There is no consensus today to send ground troops officially
but ... nothing is ruled out," Macron said at a press conference
in Paris, where the meeting had just wrapped up. "We will do
whatever it takes to ensure that Russia cannot win this war."

"The defeat of Russia is indispensable to the security and
stability of Europe," the French president added.

Ummm ... ok ... but Vlad WILL see this, even the HINT of this,
as a "wider war against Russia". It is an excuse to up his game,
use even more damaging weapons against Ukrainian cities and
vital infrastructure and even start sabotage ops in France,
using it's Iranian friends. It is also an excuse to undermine
French interests abroad - and Russia has footholds in Africa
especially. Even French shipping might encounter risks.

So, Macron has gone and done it. Actually SAYING this can
change a lot of things. Russia has to react accordingly.

This would not be an official NATO thing or even an EU thing,
but more France and whomever else -vs- Moscow as individual
nations.
