These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on 2012-03-05,
and should be interpreted accordingly. All questions were written
by members of Footloose and Firkin Free, but have been reformatted
and may have been retyped and/or edited by me. I will reveal the
correct answers in about 3 days.

For further information, including an explanation of the """ notation
that may appear in these rounds, see my 2021-07-20 companion posting
on "Reposted Questions from the Canadian Inquisition (RQFTCI*)".

* Game 6, Round 4 - Geography - US Tourist Attractions

We name the attraction; you name the US *state* where it's located
(or was located, if it no longer exists).

1. Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory.
2. Stone Mountain Park.
3. The Old Man in the Mountain.
4. Dollywood.
5. Mall of America.
6. Cedar Point Amusement Park.
7. Pike Place Market.
8. Temple Square.
9. Rocky Mountain National Park.
10. Trinity nuclear test site.

* Game 6, Round 6 - Entertainment - General Movie Trivia

1. Gus Van Sant directed a poorly received 1998 remake of
Hitchcock's "Psycho". Perhaps one of the reasons for the poor
reception was the casting of what actor, mostly known for his
comedy roles, as Norman Bates?

2. In what horror movie are the four main characters known as
"Columbus", "Tallahassee", "Wichita", and "Little Rock"?

3. Linda Hunt won an Oscar for her role in "The Year of Living
Dangerously" (1982). What was unique about her Oscar-winning
role?

4. The Sesame St. characters, Bert and Ernie, were named after
the policeman and cabbie in what classic movie?

5. What were the robots in "Blade Runner" called?

6. Who provided the sultry speaking voice of Jessica Rabbit in
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit"?

7. Which 2000 movie does this dialogue come from?

"What makes you think that you can just walk in there and
find, uh, what we need?"

"They're called boobs, Ed."

8. Richard Roundtree played Shaft in the 1971 movie. Who played
Shaft in the 2000 remake?

9. Christopher Guest is best known as a writer/director/actor in
several mockumentary films. Who is his well-known actress wife,
the child of a Hollywood couple?

10. Which Bob Dylan song was written for "Pat Garrett and Billy
the Kid"?

she was playing a male character

"It's a Wonderful Life"
(however, that's an urban legend; the Sesame Street characters did not get their names from that film)

"Erin Brockovich"

the answer they're probably looking for is Samuel L. Jackson
(however, Richard Roundtree was also in the film playing his original character Shaft, i.e. Uncle John Shaft, the uncle of Jackson's character, but identified in the *next* remake as the father of Jackson's character)

"Knockin' on Heaven's Door"
