The sad news were announced just about now the 11th of October 2021. He passed away in Paris France. He was a songwriter and performer of the modern Lao music(ເພງລາວແບບສາກົນ) through and through! He leaves us an invaluable work. He penned so many songs many masterpieces such as this one https://youtu.be/SiWPus1C6HY. Many of his songs were widely covered and remastered by ລາວນອກ ລາວໃນ artists perhaps as a form of respect and homage to a giant Lao music idol.
