Bullshit. The legislation does not 'require' anyone to register
anything. No one is compelled to complete the survey.

The law does *not* specify if participation in the "assessment" is compulsory or
not, nor does it specify that survey results may be submitted anonymously.

This bill is fascism.

Students at university are adults. They are not "turned over" to the universities.

DeSantis, a right-wingnut asshole, talks just like Trump.

"It used to be thought that a university campus was a place where you'd be
exposed to a lot of different ideas," DeSantis said, justifying the
legislation. "Unfortunately, now the norm is, these are more intellectually
repressive environments. You have orthodoxies that are promoted, and other
viewpoints are shunned or even suppressed."

DeSantis didn't offer any specific examples of that repression but instead
claimed he "knows a lot of parents" who are worried their children will be
"indoctrinated" with ideas they don't support, and a pair of state
legislators complained that Florida colleges and universities had become
"socialism factories."

He "knows a lot of parents..." How many times did we hear that fuckstain Trump
bullshit about "a lot of people say..."?

This bill will be challenged in court and chucked out.
