I'm still trying to figure this out, and bumped upon this very old thread.

Can I just ask why everyone is ignoring Lyonell, the eldest son? He was born in 1422 (as is consistently clear from a deed which mentions him as an adult in 1443, and the post mortem of his brother William in 1491 which says he's 69 years old). If Lyonell was born in 1422, there's no way Elizabeth was born in 1415.

Anyway, while child brides were not uncommon, it is in my experience extremely rare that they actually have children aged 14.
