It seems the "safest" play is 23/19, 7/1 and that's likely to cause the
most long term benefit. 17/7 looks like a good candidate too. Maybe
hitting is the preferred play but I think establishing the anchor in
the opponent's home board is better. 23/19, 7/1

X is ahead in the race, so minimizing shots might be the right idea.
23/17 7/1 looks good.

But pointing on her head on the deuce or making the bar point also seem
worthwhile.

Since this may go on for a while and O's board is sort of weak, I'll opt
for the strategic bar point 17/7
