I agree that this is a take. But if X hits and O does not roll 55,
then I think it's a drop. Big doublets and a dance should also be
a drop. I would redouble.

At first, I thought Tim must have missed the checker in the bar.
But rereading again he says "Big doublets and a dance..."
If he knew that generic "big doublets" could be followed by a dance, then he must have realised that the opponent's checker was on
the bar. It would be interested to learn what he was thinking.
