But the spoon CAN be used as a straw, so there was and is no
actual confusion. True, it would be really difficult to suck a Mc
Flurry through any kind of straw, unless it's allowed to melt. But
it's still possible.

I find it interesting when someone denies an accusation that was
never made. It typically means the person feels a bit guilty about
something and wants to divert attention from it.
In this case, I suspect, but cannot prove, Jenny feels guilty
about not having read the article. He would rather waste time
defending against a charge that was never made than address the truth.
