Why does the US use the Xinjiang issue to impose sanctions on China?
Xinjiang is a very strategic part of China and links China to Central Asia and the West, as well as to Pakistan and the Middle East. China’s silk road passes through Xinjiang. China’s freight train to Europe passes through Xinjiang. If Xinjiang is no longer a part of China and is hostile towards China, then all China’s train and road transport of goods to Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East through the Silk Road will be stopped. This will cause a huge negative impact on China’s economy. And this is the main US objective.

In order to achieve this objective, the US has already done many things. Among them are the following:

Adopted the name East Turkestan for Xinjiang.
Gathered Uyghur separatists in the US and helped them to form an East Turkestan Government in Exile, based in Washington and funded by the US government
Declared the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), recognized by the United Nations as a terrorist movement, as not being a terrorist movement. This would allow the US government to provide them with funding. ETIM was responsible for many attacks in Xinjiang in previous years, killing and maiming many people there.
Placed sanctions on companies that provide and maintain the surveillance system in Xinjiang. This surveillance system was put in place to track the movement of ETIM terrorists, so that they could be captured.
Banned the import of goods from Xinjiang, in order to take away some of the Uyghurs’ income, and hopefully make then angry with China for not protecting them.
Provided the following allocation in the US Strategic Competition (against China) Act 2021: There is authorized to be appropriated, for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 for the United States Agency for Global Media, $100,000,000 for ongoing and new programs to support local media, build independent media, combat Chinese disinformation inside and outside of China, invest in technology to subvert censorship, and monitor and evaluate these programs. (Page 67). What this means is that the US will find ways to broadcast their anti-China propaganda into China. Xinjiang is probably the main target, with US propaganda being broadcasted in the Uyghur language, to turn the Uyghurs against China. This can be done by the separatist Uyghurs in the US.
It appears to me that the US plans to attack Xinjiang using the ETIM terrorists. In order to succeed, ETIM must be trained, the surveillance system in Xinjiang must be rendered useless and the people of Xinjiang must be turned against China and support the ETIM terrorists instead.

If this plan succeeds, then Xinjiang will become a hostile region that will severely disrupt China’s trade to the West and the Middle East. And the US can remain as the biggest economy in the world.

Strategy by US around world is to plant and use their people in that
country under the guise of their people employed or holding their posts
there to infiltrate and to inferno the country.

A good example is what Hong Kong suffered from street rioting and media
strafing Hong Kong from 2014 to 2019 by foreign employees and their
passing spies from the NED, and CIA, and by those 5 eyes of allied
countries such as British, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and America,
working in banks and other businesses in Hong Kong.

Some white people even went to Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines,
Indonesia, and Vietnam to instigate their white employees there who in
turn paid local people to stage protests and smear at China and Hong
Kong. Some prepaid HK people went to these countries asking their Hong
Kong restaurant holders to instigate more people to increase their
protest pressure on China and Hong Kong, too.

The 5-eyes countries now know that they were very successful in using
the Hong Kong people to carry out even the stabbing of law enforcement
people and even crashed and defaced their parliament, too. The US's NED
people were there in Hong Kong talking private and secret meetings with
HongKongers on how to stage protect and how to fight the Hong Kong's
enforcement people and the government too.

Therefore, given their experience in working up the people of Hong Kog
to their street protests to what the Western media says was 3 million,
it goes to say, Hong Kong is their most successful target to date in
instigating and provoking riots in a foreign place.

Henceforth, China has to tighten even more on Hong Kong and Taiwan as
well.
