Splitting seems thematic. But whacking both has its merits too. The
chicken play seems weak. The hybrid plays 6/3* 24/22 and 6/3* 13/11 are
intriguing too.

Hitting (one checker) loose seems to lack enough follow-on, but may well
be the bot play. I'll go for the simple split since I have a hunch it's
not all that wrong if not best. 24/21 13/11.

X to play 32

In his response, ah_clem mentioned many candidates, but not the bot play
of 24/22 24/21. This sort of play reminds me of former chess world
champion Mikhail Tal, who was famous for leaving multiple pieces en
prise (vulnerable to capture). He would say, "They can take only one
piece at a time!" In backgammon, some rolls actually allow O to hit
(or even point on) both of X's blots after 24/22 24/21, but most do not.
If only one checker is hit, X may escape, or anchor on, the other one.
