The patient''s height, and weight were not reported. No concurrent conditions were reported. The patient''s parent''s medical history: The parent had no chronic health condition prior to vaccination. The mother had headache/migraine, headache occipital three times a week since jab and many times flu symptoms since vaccination. The LMP (Last Menstrual Period) date was unknown. The patient''s mother received covid-19 vaccine ad26.cov2..s (suspension for injection, route of admin not reported, batch number was not reported) dose was not reported, 1 total administered on 01-OCT-2021 for covid-19 prophylaxis. Route for patient''s exposure was transplacental. The batch number was not reported and has been requested. No concomitant medications were reported. On 01-OCT-2021, the patient''s mother was 4 months pregnant and received vaccination and baby experienced foetal exposure during pregnancy. On DEC-2021, the baby was delivered (premature baby). The delivery method, height and weight of baby was not reported. On an unspecified date, the baby was diagnosed with possible flu. Write-up: stomach pain; ischaemic heart failure; This case was received via Regulatory Authority (Reference number: v2210003442) on 28-Dec-2022 and was forwarded to Moderna on 05-Jan-2023. This regulatory authority case was reported by a physician and describes the occurrence of ABDOMINAL PAIN UPPER (stomach pain) and CARDIAC FAILURE (ischaemic heart failure) in a 52-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (batch no. 3003656) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient''s past medical history included Stomach pain (stomach pain for 2 months prior to death, but did not visit hospital regularly). On 21-Jul-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 13-Aug-2021 at 10:00 AM, the patient experienced ABDOMINAL PAIN UPPER (stomach pain) (seriousness criterion death) and CARDIAC FAILURE (ischaemic heart failure) (seriousness criteria death and medically significant). The patient died on 13-Aug-2021. The reported cause of death was drowning due to on ischemic heart failure. An autopsy was performed, but no results were provided. For mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (Intramuscular), the reporter considered ABDOMINAL PAIN UPPER (stomach pain) and CARDIAC FAILURE (ischaemic heart failure) to have an unknown relationship.
