I followed the link and downloaded the "plain English" compiler; I'm not
keen on his choice of font! and even less that he can't handle decimal.

But it's important to have a hobby, each to their own.

As you said, to each his own.
My version (The Ideom) is a console version of the compiler only.

and even less that he can't handle decimal.

If you mean "floating point", it's not a question of can or can't.
Both Plain English and The Ideom don't support floating point, but
that's because both compilers are simple to understand and easy to
implement. In the (good) old days simple systems used fixed point
(ratios) to good advantage. Plain English very eloquently demonstrates this
with it's WIN32 graphical interface and graphical drawing primitives
which require no floating point to implement.
