EFF leaves the gremium to protest this decision as a consequence.

If opaque binary blobs will become part of browsers, this will have a very
negative impact for tor and i2p.

This is quite distressing to read. I'll have to take a deeper look at it later.

I've been watching the internet become a gov't and corporate tool for a long time now, and it's not a pleasant thing to watch.
