As mentioned recently, rslight now has a files area where a registered user can upload small files and they can be browsed and downloaded.

The new mail feature seems to be working fine, and the ability to delete is working. Read messages will be identified in your message list. Note: this is for sending/receiving between users of the same rslight site for now.

Links are now clickable in messages. This works for several protocols.

The registration scripts have been cleaned up. Hopefully just cleaned up, not screwed up. If any trouble please let me know.

I've added support for displaying X-Face images in rslight. It seems to be working ok.

I still need to clean up the code a bit as I was just trying to get it to work. I know it's not a common header in messages, but I wanted to give it a try.

This seems to be working fine. I've added a small user config page (per user) to add an X-Face: header and also to add a signature when posting with your username.

I can add more to this config page in the future, but for now these two options exist and appear to b working.

I've now separated css and have one default. This makes it easy to create themes, and allow choosing your own theme. The configuration page now has a place to select a theme, and this should persist per machine that you use once you log in once.

There are only two themes right now, Default and Blue, but just trying to make sure it works ok. I plan to create one more theme, and may change the default (or not).

rslight is designed to work somewhat ok on small devices, but I may create a theme specifically for phones. That may take a while, but themes should be easy to add now.

This is now on github, and will soon be updated on rslight/getrslight.

Themes seem to be working ok, and logging out brings you back to the Default Theme. There are now four themes, none of which is great, but I wanted to try a few color schemes. This also has been a good test for a user configuration file.

I'm working now on some RSS stuff, which I can thank trw for doing such a great job with their scripts that I finally (yes, finally) am trying again. I'd like to add a feature that lets you add a config file to automatically pull a feed to a particular group in rslight, with everything built in.

This will take a while, and I may not even ever get it working properly, but it's what's on my mind at this time.

I have this running now on a test site. Simply add a config file to the rss/ directory for each feed and it runs at whatever interval you put in the file. Each feed can be enabled/disabled in the file, and all feeds can be run to just produce output to console for testing if you're trying to configure a new feed. I've also added the ability to provide links in more than one network. For example, an I2P feed might be pulled from clearnet, but can post with both clearnet and i2p links. All dates right now will tend to be UTC.

I need to continue working on this, and test many more feeds to see how I can make it as easy as possible to configure, but for now it's working well.

Just noticed a bug in some of the feeds where the description wasn't being displayed. Looks like I forgot to copy my latest script to the server handling the feeds. That's fixed now, so hopefully all the data will show up.
