It seems to me, not by thorough testing, but recent observation, that trying to access an i2p site via i2p using the router that hosts the i2p site does not work.

For example, if router A hosts site B
and I use router A as my proxy for my browser and try to access site B, I can not.

I realize that in normal situations you would not need to do this, but the issue has come up while working on some of my i2p proxy setups.

Is this known or obvious, or am I having a different problem here?

my guess is that you have a different problem. i did what you have described many times.
the opposite is a greater difficulty for me: if i reach the site from the same router that hosts it, does it mean that anyone else can, too ? or is it just me ? that's why i like identiguy.i2p :-)

Interesting. Now I'm curious what the issue is. The sites are fine, just wondering why this happens here.

Yes. That's when using rocksolid light inside synchronet. Both attach a signature. I thought that was necessary early on as synchronet wasn't syncing properly, so no signature was getting sent. Depending on how it syncs, it may or may not send a sig, so I added one to rslight.

When everything syncs properly, I end up with two sigs. I really hate intermittent issues.

no, this is normal in my experience. you actually need to jump to your own services the first time you visit them (or use the address helper).

Ok, that makes sense. I thought something was wrong on my end. Some of my i2p routers are remote to me, so I don't use them for browsing.
